Google Maps on your Media Center

Summary:

Using the Google Maps API, you can easily add Google Maps to your own website.

Savage came with the great idea to create a website that can be used by the Windows Media Center Remote control to browse Google Maps on your Media Center (the real URL is added in the links section of this page).

All you need to do is download the Gmap.mcl link to the the 'all users' start menu
(c:\documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs\accessories\media center\media center programs\) of your Media Center.

Right after placing the gmap.mcl file which can be downloaded from the download section on this page, Google maps are available on your Media Center in the `programs´ section.

Now you can show all your friends your house from your television.
Use CH [+][-] buttons to zoom and the arrow buttons to navigate.
